Bumble Bee Environmental Inc.

Practical environmental solutions backed by senior technical expertise

Why Bumble Bee?

Bumble Bee Environmental is intentionally small. Clients work directly with a senior ecologist, not through layers of management. When a project requires additional disciplines or field support, I can draw on a trusted network of experienced peers and manage the team to provide coordinated, multidisciplinary support.

About Bumble Bee Environmental

Bumble Bee Environmental Inc. is a senior ecological consulting practice led by Lisa Uskov, an experienced ecologist with 16 years of experience across consulting, government, and multidisciplinary environmental projects.

The business was created to provide clients with something that is often difficult to find: senior technical expertise, honest advice, high-quality deliverables, and practical ecological solutions that consider the full reality of a project - including environmental requirements, community values, regulatory expectations, budget, schedule, and long-term outcomes.

Bumble Bee Environmental works with landowners, developers, operators, municipalities, consultants, and project teams who need clear natural environment advice and credible technical support.

My Approach

I believe clients deserve clear, honest advice from the beginning.

When I assess a project, I walk clients through the potential ecological constraints, approval requirements, risks, and opportunities up front. That includes best-case scenarios, worst-case scenarios, and practical options based on the client’s goals, budget, schedule, and tolerance for risk.

My role is not simply to identify problems. It is to help find responsible, defensible solutions that support project success while advancing environmental goals. I bring high ethical standards, strong technical judgment, and a realistic understanding of the need for sustainable development, economic resilience, and responsible resource use.

The result is advice that is practical, transparent, and grounded in both science and real-world project delivery.
